- Seattle's 1 Reel Festival
Dear
Miguel Silveira,
I would like to invite your film Namibia, Brazil to
participate in the 1 Reel Film Festival, September
1-3, 2007. 1 Reel is put on by the Seattle International
Film Festival Group as part of Bumbershoot, Seattle's
city-wide music and arts festival.
The festival will take place at SIFF Cinema in the
Seattle Center. The SIFF Cinema has been designed
to be a world-class state-of-the- art cinema with
archival print-ready projection and sound systems
that perfectly complement the cinema's great sightlines,
excellent acoustics and comfortable seats. In addition
to the two 35mm projectors, the theatre has been equipped
with the new Sony SRXR110 digital projector, capable
of delivering an amazing picture – more than
four times the resolution of full HDTV. The sound
system has been installed to meet LucasFilm THX Sound
specifications, featuring top-of-the-line JBL 3-way
speakers and surround system powered by Dolby Digital
Sound processing with Crown’s Dsi cinema amplifiers,
providing perfect coverage in every seat of the auditorium,
with an equal wide dynamic range and extended bandwidth,
as well as providing inaudible levels of distortion.
